Eating late can lead to weight gain. Well, this is what a new study by the Northwestern University says. The study says that eating at irregular times like late night dinner can only add to weight.
It is just not that the calories that we eat add to the weight but our habits are also an important aspect in maintaining a healthy body. Well, according to the new research, if you want to lose weight, you have to change the timings of your dinner.
The researchers found that mice that were fed a high-fat diet during normal sleeping hours gained significantly more weight than mice that ate the same diet during normal waking hours. It was from this that researchers concluded that modifying the time of eating has a great impact on the body weight.
Well, this study dispels other studies that have shown that weight gain was not related to eating timings.
Obesity is now a global problem. It is high time that people think of leading a healthy life, free from obesity.
